It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Arthur McMillan of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. McMillan and Lassie McMillan; and his brothers, Hayden and Earl. He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his children, Shelley Hartness (Brian) and Ricky; his grandchildren, Josh, McKenzie, Carly McMillan, Aaron Hartness (Kendra) and Jacob Hartness; his siblings, Betty Guffey, LouAnn McMillan, Jerry McMillan (Charlotte), Leonard McMillan (Joan) and James McMillan (Sandra); and also Dr. Forrest Carroll Hennessee.
