She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Howard and Lafaun Ward (Benjamin); her husband Kenny Koontz; her daughter Cheryl Huffman; and her brother Norman Ward.
She is survived by: her son Brad Koontz (Meg) of Gastonia, NC; her sister Shirley Scanland of Findlay, OH; her grandchildren, Nathan Huffman (Bethany), Jared Huffman (Jessica), Sean Huffman (Chelsea), Tara Parsons (Jeremy), Adriane Koontz (Kris Pirmann) and Jacob Koontz; and her great grandchildren, Christian Huffman, Virginia Huffman, Jameson Huffman, Connor Patrick Huffman, Addison Jordan, Aven Parsons, Adley Parsons and Russell Koontz Pirmann.
