It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca L. Heffner of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ledbetter and Marie Ledbetter; her husband Terry Heffner; and her siblings, Charles Edward Ledbetter Jr., Carl Ledbetter and Andrea Staton.
She is survived by: her children, Victor Heffner, Teresa Pethel (David), Suzanne Heffner Ottinger and Denise Heffner; her brothers, Joe Ledbetter and Wayne Ledbetter; and her grandchildren, Jonathon Heffner (Lizzy), Landon Propst (Heather), Kimberly Heffner, Calie Heffner, Shasta Caldwell (Kevin) and Brock Pethel. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
