It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond Michael Jarvis of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Jarvis and Toshiko Jarvis. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Hoffman Jarvis; his children, Zack Jarvis (Alayna), Allison Jarvis (Marina) and Rebecca Jarvis Lautner (Shawn); his granddaughter Eloise Jarvis; his siblings, Bruce Jarvis (Karen), Rick Jarvis (Jackie), Sheila Bland and Cheryl Walker; and his siblings-in-law, Renee Hinson (Walt), Paula Medlin and Rodney Hoffman (Darla). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
