She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie J. Smith, Sr. and Annie Mae Hall Smith; and her husband Harold Teague. She is survived by: her children, James Hayden (Suzanne), Renee Woody (Donnie) and Leona Teague; her siblings, Willie Smith, Jr., Linwood Smith, Hazel Platt, Joyce Gainey and Wanda Melton; her grandchildren, Thomas Hayden (Tifeny), Travis Woody (Sarah), Brittany Rudisill, Tyler Hayden and Jasmine Tidwell; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Hayden, Levi Hayden, Travis Woody, Jr., Madison Woody, Alaina Hayden, Julius Rudisill, Elijah Rudisill and Brayden Holland-Naylor.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Gaston Hospice – PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
