He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Schwende and Richard Schwende; his former wives, Jeanette and Linda; and his brothers, Dick Summer (Barbara) and Len Schwende.
He is survived by: his wife Tania; his daughters, Laura Keoboupha and Jennifer Wise; his grandson Nathaniel Keoboupha; his brothers, Jeff Schwende (Ellen) and John Schwende (Beth); and his friend Carol Pesek. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
