She was predeceased by: her parents, Prince Johnson and Melrose Blackburn Johnson; her husband Buster Fox; her siblings, William Johnson, Bob Johnson, Betty Summitt, Brenda Lineberger and Pauline Little; and her parents-in-law, Grace and Ernest Foxx.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Foxx (Karla), Jesse Fox, Deedee Gillis (Will), Nicole Braswell (Nick) and Jessica Fox; and her sisters, Frances Brooks of Shelby and Patsy Johnson of Bessemer City. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
