Peggy M. Jenkins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy M. Jenkins of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William D. Martin and Grace B. Martin; her husband Earl Lloyd Jenkins; and her siblings, Jack Martin, William "Bud" Martin and Brenda F. Martin.
She is survived by: her son Carl Dewitt Jenkins (Vickie Cole) of Gastonia; her granddaughter Heather Jenkins Shilt (John Andrew Shilt) of Winston-Salem; her great grandchildren, Declan, Hayes, Emery and Bexley; her sister Janie Trimnal; and her nephews, William Ernest "Bill" Trimnal (Mariam Lewis) and Marion Robert Trimnal II (Michelle McClure).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Legacy Church (2316 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
Monetary donations may be made in Peggy's honor to Legacy Church in Gastonia.
