We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2023, at the age of 87, Peggy Helms Bryant of Gastonia, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Glenn Helms; her stepfather E. C. Grant; her husband Burel Edward Bryant; her siblings, Ray, James Helms and Ovella Helms Wilson; and her grandchildren, John Bryant Jr. and Maddison Young.

She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Bryant (Carol), Teresa Bryant Colvard (Darrell), John Randall Bryant Sr. and Tonya Bryant Moore (Stephen); and her sister Nellie Helms Phillips. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
