It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patty Ann Hawkins of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James H. Hunt Sr.; her sons, Danny Thornburg Jr. and Roger Dale Thornburg; and her sister Rosemary Norris. She is survived by: her son Billy Thornburg (Deanna); her siblings, Cynthia Hord (James), James Hunt Jr. (Regina), Jimmy Hunt (Blue Eyes) and Steve Hunt; her grandson Waylon Thornburg; and her children, Robin Ford, Andrea Thornburg, Kayla Thornburg and Luke Thornburg. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
