It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Alexander Hyder of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Gordon and Nell Hensley Alexander; her husband G. P. "Zeke" Hyder; and her siblings, Cindy Alexander and Mike Alexander.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kenny, Lawson, Kix Gray and Aniyah Taylor; her son Jeffrey Scott Hyder (Jane Reneau); her grandchildren, Chase Hyder and Morgan Hyder (BJ Philbeck); her great grandchildren, Kylee Hyder, Kennedy Gray and Brinley Philbeck; and her siblings, Bob Alexander, Kay Lynch, Donna Martin and Carol Alexander. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
