He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Winston Norris and Ola Jane Mims Norris; his siblings, Leo, Sadie, Maggie, Henry, Lessie, Kathleen, Ruth, Alice, Marvin and Clifford; and his wife Isabella Norris. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

“To Mack and Joan, because you are the only relatives that I know, I want to express deepest sympathies from the Harvey family. Mike (AC4NP) Michelle, Derek and Matthew. My 2 sons grew up visiting Oscar with me and thought the world of him. I can't say much here that a thousand others have said or will say about him. He was a great Mentor to me and I always enjoyed swapping and trading with him. We traveled to many Hamfests together. It was an Honor to have known him! Friend to everyone!”
