Nellie Mae Maney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2022, at the age of 91, Nellie Mae Maney of Gastonia, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Modie Dove Trapp; her husband James Hyman Maney; her sisters, Eunice Fish and Dorothy DiGirolamo; and her son-in-law David Alm.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Maney Alm and Katrina Maney; her grandsons, Chris Alm (Leslie), Jody Alm (Nicole) and Jamie Price (Meredith); her great grandchildren, William, Brittany, Jonah, Bayleigh, Wesley, Daniel and Madison; and her great great grandchild Jolie Rae. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Myrtle United Methodist Church PO Box 12825, Gastonia, NC 28052 or to Smokey Mountains Childrens Home, in memory of Nellie Maney, 449 McCarn Circle, Sevierville, TN 37862.
