It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nellie Mae Sherrill (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on February 11, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Glover (Capps) and Isaac Glover; and her husband Roe Lee Sherrill. She is survived by: her daughter Rita Meek (James). She is also survived by two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Nellie's name to Shriners Hospital for Children, 604 Doug Mayes Place, Charlotte, NC 28262.
