He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Neil Lemon and Florence Aman Lemon. He is survived by: his pets, Tori, Joey and Leo; his wife Karen Lemon of Gastonia; his daughters, Renetta Carroll (Landon) of Apex, NC and Tammy Claytor (Allison) of Jacksonville, FL; his siblings-in-law, Lorie Chilcott (Jeff) and James Aldridge of Florida; his granddaughter Peyton Carroll; his nephew Robert 'Bob Stauffer; his sister Margaret Stauffer; and his grandson Johrdan West.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tri-County Animal Rescue, PO Box 483, Alexis, NC 28006.
