With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy (Killian) Gibson of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on April 4, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nell Killian (Smith) and Grady Edward Killian; and her husband Douglas Newton Gibson. She is survived by: her siblings, Frances Davis (Killian), Dorothy Lee (Killian) and Arnold Killian; her children, Cheryl Locklear (Joe) and William "Butch" Edward Barker, Jr. (Shirley); her grandchildren, Lauren Helms (Garrett), Matt Locklear (Dana) and Chelsea Locklear; her great grandchildren, Vayla, Van, Jacob and Ariah; and her sister Carol Berry (Killian).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Nancy's name to a church of your choice.
