With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy George of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Barker and Ruth Barker; her husband Robert "Gene" George; and her brother Bill Barker. She is survived by: her children, Ronnie George, Beverly Christenbury (Jim) and Karen Thompson (Greg); and her grandchildren, Paige Mosier, Kyle Thompson, Matt Christenbury, Jennifer Ledford, Angie Meador, Travis George and Wesley George. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
