She is survived by: her children, Fiancée Charles Bramwell (Melinda Ladd) and Amber; her son-in-law Scott Holbrook of Maiden; her grandchildren, Austin Bramwell, Riley Bramwell, Landen Bramwell and Rowan Holbrook; her sisters, Wanda Gibson (Donald Lawing) of Lincolnton and Gelinda; her brother-in-law Brett Robinson of Indianapolis; her brothers, Byrd of Dallas and Terry Wheeler of Mt Holly; her uncle Jack; her aunts, Trudy Conard and Sue Brandon of Belmont; and her close friend Sandra Mayberry of Bessemer City. She is also survived by her family, her friends, her co-workers, neighbors.
The family suggest that in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Darlene's name to the Animal League of Gaston County, 425 W. Franklin Boulevard, Gastonia, NC 28052.
