With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Moody Savage Lane of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on January 21, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Savage and Lula Savage; her husband Emory "Craig" Lane Sr.; her son Mark Dana Lane; and her siblings, Rebecca Watts, Frankie Bradley and W. T. Savage Jr..

She is survived by: her son Emory Lane Jr. (Linda); and her siblings, Ann Donhouser (John), Claude Savage (Jean) and Richard Savage (Sandy). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chapel Grove Baptist Church, 716 Camp Rotary Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
