Minor Revere Adams III Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2023, at the age of 89, Minor Revere Adams III of Gastonia, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Minor Revere Adams, Jr. and Esther Rodgers Reid Adams; and his siblings, William Preston Adams, Esther Reid Adams Hunnicutt and Sarah Rodgers Adams Abernethy.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Cooke Adams of Gastonia; his children, Cooke Adams Thompson (Reed) of Kalispell, MT and Minor Revere Adams, IV (TJ McSwain) of Gastonia; his grandchildren, Hayley McSwain and Hobbs Thompson; his siblings-in-law, Becky Adams and Dr. Bo Abernethy of Gastonia; and his close friend Connie Humphries. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
