With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Beard (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2020 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mike Beard to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Eugene and Joyce Katherine Beard; his son Brian Wilson; and his grandson Hunter Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Rita Herman Beard; his children, Jason Beard (Suzanne) and Dana Johnson (Mark); his daughter-in-law Jamey Wilson; his grandchildren, Taylor, Alex Beard, Jonathan Johnson and Kayla Dilday; and his great grandchildren, Khloe Taylor, Jayda Johnson and Kayden Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Men's Outreach of Mays Chapel United Methodist Church.
