She is survived by: her daughter Bethany Diegelman Self; her grandchildren, Eisley Kester Self and Jake Lucas Self; her parents, Jim Kester and Becky Kester; and her siblings, Kristen Kester and Adam Kester (Javier Santana).
A reception was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gaston Memorial Park (2205 Williamsburg Dr, Gastonia, NC 28054).
