He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Bratcher Robinson and Lilian Corinne Scurry Robinson; his siblings, Elvin Franklin Robinson and Lillian Frances Robinson Hill; and his former wife Marolyn Jackson Robinson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle R. Kingston (Rick) of Charlotte, NC. and Stephanie R. Craine of Charleston, SC.; and his grandchildren, Josh Kingston and Kai Craine. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
