We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2019, at the age of 71, Michael Givens (Gastonia, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Ruth Givens Workfield and Curtis "Sonny" Williamson; and his brothers, Roy Cecil Givens and Larry Reid. He is survived by: his siblings, Marveta Mason (James Ed), Bobby Givens (Kay) of Gastonia, NC and Mary Holland (Al) of Roanoke, VA; and his friend Cora Slade of Lowell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
