It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Alan Patterson of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Blanche Kelly Teague; his stepfather Frank Teague; his great-aunt Patsy Smith Walters; and his sister Patsy Smith Walters (Darrell Walters). He is survived by: his wife Rachel Woods Patterson of Gastonia; his daughter Stacey; his son-in-law Thomas James Redmond of Belmont; his grandson Patterson Chantz Redmond; his sister Barbara Ballard (Rusty Gray); his sister-in-law Barbara Maier; his nieces and nephews, Shawn, Trent (Amy) and Martha Glover (Ronnie); his great-nephews, Steve, Lance and Travis; and his nephew Jimmy Smith.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the City Church (3100 City Church St, Gastonia, NC 28056). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
