It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Sparrow (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Nellie Hughes. She is survived by: her husband James R. Sparrow (Curly); her children, James "Jimmy" L. Sparrow (Elizabeth) and Judith S. Dobies (James); her grandsons, Thomas, Huston and Leo Dobies; her brothers, Timothy L. Frye (Rosanna) and David S. Frye (Lyn); and her nieces, Christine Uhl (Timothy), Jessica F. Falls (Brad) and Megan Saal (Steve).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
