She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Ernest Newman; her husband Boyce Millard Harvell; and her siblings, Dorothy Meadows, Helen Baker, Lewis and Charles Newman.

She is survived by: her son Joseph Walter Kelly, Jr. (Elisa Phillips); her granddaughter Amanda Hoppel; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Noah and Russell, Jr.; and her brother Harvey "Butch" Newman.
