With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Alice Largent (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on June 20, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harker Barton and Rosa McMillan Barton; her husband Charles Largent; and her children, Keith Dixon and Jacquelyn Wakefield.

She is survived by: her sons, Karl Dixon, Michael Dixon (Beverley), Chad Dixon (Rebecca Boyette-Dixon) and Phillip Godwin (Joy); her siblings, Ponce Barton and Rosa Barton; and her great great grandchild McMillan. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
