She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Everette Morrison and Eula Amanda Spencer Morrison; her former husband Everette Goldman Carswell; her son Everette Lee Carswell; and her stepson Alan Penner.
She is survived by: her husband Winford Buddy Penner; her children, Calvin David Carswell, Jane Sutton (Jimmy) and Martha Ann Ball; and her stepdaughters, Carlotta Anderson (Richard) and Bridgett Penner. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
