He was predeceased by: his wife Alphie Sutton Ramsey; his parents, Marshall Neal Ramsey, Sr. and Virginia Plyler Ramsey; and his son Tony Owens. He is survived by: his son Andy Owens; his daughter-in-law Samanatha Owens; his grandsons, Jordan Owens and Steven McQueen; and his brothers, Clifford Ramsey and Raymond Ramsey (Carol). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
