She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Columbus Elders and Alta Dona Davis Elders; her husband Allen Lee Dills; and her brother Houston Elders. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Duane Dills (Eileen) of Cary and Roger Allen Dills (Ellen Keeter) of Gastonia; her granddaughters, Heather Dills DeVault (Craig) of Cary and Rachel Dills Torres (Jose Luis) of Clover, SC; her great grandchildren, Evianna Dills of Clover, SC, Jack and Mark DeVault of Cary; and her siblings, Dellis Elders, Cecil Elders, Sylvester Elders, Gary Elders, Emogene Dills, Joyce Berry and Barbara Anderson.

The Dills family has requested in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Macy be sent to Flint Groves Baptist Church, 2023 Flint Lane, Gastonia, NC 28054.
