It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Searcy Elliott (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on December 4, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Searcy and Edna Searcy; her daughter Sylvia Elliott Whitmer; her son-in-law Calvin Whitmer; and her brother Charles Searcy.

She is survived by: her husband Claude Elliott, Jr.; her sons, Dean Elliott (Vicky) and Joe Elliott (Marsha); her grandchildren, John, Hayden and Bryce Elliott; and her siblings, Boyd, David, Kenneth Searcy, Velma Earley and Charlotte Hottel (Wilson).
