He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Owen and Jenny Owen; his former wife Mary Elizabeth Harrigan Owen; and his brother Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Clare M. (Jim Skutka), James G. (Katherine Owen), Robert T. (Lorianne Owen) and Janet O. (Tim Laframboise); his grandchildren, Kevin (Holly), Todd (Danielle), Meagan Janet (Rob), Kelsey (Nicholas), Jonathan, Matthew, Amanda and Stephanie; and his great grandchildren, Sami, Kayla, Drew, Karson, Katelynn, Abby, Scarlett and Audrey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Queen of the Apostles Building Fund.
