She is survived by: her husband Ralph Alfred Whisnant; her daughters, Angie McClure (Mark) and Sandra Whisnant (Sam); her grandsons, David Coggins and Dylan McClure (Talia); her great grandchild Alexander; and her brother-in-law Earl Whisnant (Nancy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
