We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2022, at the age of 76, Linda Schenck Goforth Stroupe (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Goforth and Mary Schenck Goforth. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Stroupe; her children, Rita Stroupe Wilkinson (Sam), Charles W. Stroupe, Jr. (Lauren), Stephen P. Stroupe (Rebekah) and Todd M. Stroupe; her siblings, Jane Elmore, Helen Hauser (Pete), Ed Goforth (Pam) and Paul Goforth (Debbie); and her grandchildren, Lorelei Wilkinson, Lily Wilkinson, Charles "Boone" Stroupe and Mary Elizabeth Stroupe. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 2024 Redbud Dr., Gastonia, NC 28056, or to Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
