It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lewis Melvin Holland (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Lowell, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Judson Holland (Jud) and Bertha Elizabeth Stroup Holland; his former wife Margaret Helton Holland; and his wife Elizabeth Collins Holland (Lib). He is survived by: his son Lewis Randall Holland (Julie White Holland) of Myrtle Beach, SC; his sisters, Doris Holland Seagle of Dallas and Evelyn Holland Humphrey (Evvie) of North Augusta, SC; and his stepchildren, Pat Vining (Jim) of Rock Hill, SC and Norman James (DeAnn) of Wendell, NC. He is also survived by three step-grandsons; and numerous step-great-grandchildren.
