She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar W. Huskey and Bertie Burnett Huskey; and her siblings, Jack Huskey, Hyman Huskey, Ray Huskey, Faye Brooks, Dorothy "Dot" Blanton, Morris Huskey and Marcus "Mac" Huskey.

She is survived by: her husband Jon Olin Childs, Sr.; her sons, Jon Olin Childs, Jr. and Stan Childs (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Chandler Childs, Katia Childs, Megan Childs and Wyatt Childs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
