She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wellington Stevens and Laura Louise Stevens. She is survived by: her son Steve Carter (Donna Carter) of Searcy, AR; her grandsons, Wesley Carter of Memphis, TN and Aaron Carter of Memphis, TN; her great grandchild Emery Bryant of Collierville, TN; and her sister Ann Bivens of Gastonia, NC..

In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and/or Samaritan's Purse.
