It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Taylor McElveen (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on October 21, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

“Sympathy note to larry's family, i am max davis and live in roanoke virginia. Larry and i became friends while we were about six years old attending covenant methodist (previously called west end methodist church.). Larry's mother, eunice, and my mother mabel davis were good friends who were both loyal in the worship and other activities at west end church. My dad and his dad were strong in the leadership at west end. I have fond memories of taylor and eunice along with larry.”
