He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Walter and Lillian Rhyne Gaddis; his wife Judy Bost Gaddis; his sister Carolyn O'Daniel; and his close friend Doris Webb.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Gaddis Lineberger (Joel) of Cramerton, NC, Marshall Dean Gaddis (Jan) of McAdenville, NC and Rev. Greg Hulton Gaddis (Janet) of Cabot, AR; his grandchildren, Andrew Joel Lineberger (Maria) of Gastonia, NC, Anna Lineberger Lantelme (Zachary) of Lakewood, CO, Marshall Grady Gaddis (Tara) of Washington, DC, Charles Parker Gaddis of McAdenville, NC, Rachel Gaddis Bryant (Justin) of Burns, TN, Gregory Nathan Gaddis (Rachel) of Athens, AL and Abigail Grace Gaddis (Adam Naramore) of Cabot, AR.; his great grandchildren, Ford, Miles Lineberger of Gastonia, NC, Micah, Zoe Lantelme of Lakewood, CO, Jack, Luke, James, Eloise Gaddis of Washington, DC and Josiah Gaddis of Athens, AL.; and his sister Lou Rumfelt (Calvin) of Stanley, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
