He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Wesley Bynum; his brother Ronald Steven Bynum; his daughter Amanda Hernandez; and his stepparents, Doyle Price and Ruby Bynum.
He is survived by: his friends, Nascar and Carolina Panthers; his wife Peggy Cobb Bynum; his children, Christopher Mark Bynum (Nancy Ann), Jessica Hernandez (Brandon), Tyler DeWayne Holland and Seth Zachary Holland; his siblings, Jean Bynum Helton (Calvin), Kay Lance (Doug), Vickie Thompson (John) and Joe Darrell Bynum (Betsy); his grandchildren, Christopher, Leah, Mattie, Eric, Trevor, Mishca, Trinity, Finley, Alyssa and Madison Olivia; and his great grandchildren, Felecity, Andreya and Isabella. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
