It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Charles Bryson (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taft Bryson and Ruby Cabe Bryson; and his siblings, Betty Morris, Gene Bryson, Booty Bryson, Roy Lee Bryson and Glenda "Dinky" Singleton.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Carol Gray Bryson; his children, Kim Farr (Jody), Stacy Ellis (Jeff) and Billy McCall; his grandchildren, Kelly, Lindsey (Jon), Justin (Jordan), Matthew and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Isla, Paxton, Nash, Landon, Jessie, Mason and Dallas; his siblings, Louis "Buck" Bryson (Claudette), Linda Neikirk and Brenda Queen; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria "Tinker" Bryson, Deborah Tinker (Ernie), Donna Stamey and Rusty Gray.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation (2916 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Pallbearers will be Jody Farr, Jeff Ellis, Justin Farr, Matthew Ewart, Andrew Ewart and Jon VesanoIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to VIA Health Partners, 900 Donita Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
