It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth James Braswell (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Raymond Braswell and Hazel Rayfield Braswell; and his brother Roger Braswell. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Braswell; his sons, James Braswell (Cindy) and Michael Braswell (Jeanette Liter); his sisters, Shirley Braswell, Katherine Philbeck, Susie Mahaffey (Ray), Carolyn Prorock (Eddie) and Marie Gantt (Barry); his grandchildren, Crystal Roberts, Karen Jenkins, Cierra May and Jackie Braswell; and his great grandchildren, Lea McAteer, Kailey Turner, Ensley Jenkins, Brittany Gilliland, Dalton Roberts, Preston May and Isaac Bard.
