He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Griffith Sr. and Veta Goforth Griffith; and his brother Clyde Griffith, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Beulah Carole Meadows Griffith of Gastonia, N. C.; and his nieces, Teresa Cox Shaw (Chris) of Gastonia, N. C. and Mary Sue Cox Johnson (Walter) of Gastonia, N. C..
