It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Dwight Grimsley (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on October 6, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mollie Elizabeth and Oscar Bynum Grimsley; his wife Brenda Falls Grimsley; his grandson David Grimsley, Jr.; and his siblings, Charles Eugene Grimsley (Pete), James Grimsley, Larry Grimsley, Carolyn Grimsley and Joyce Pearson.

He is survived by: his children, David D. Grimsley (Malina) and Amy Cable (Marty); his grandchildren, Ashley, Taylor and Chase Cable of Gastonia; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Heath, Brantley, Mason, Paisley, Grayson and Logan; his sister Patsy Boyles (Joe); and his sister-in-law Doris Falls.
