It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kendall Richard Adams (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Adams and Mabel Adams; and his brothers, Vincent, Edwin, Jerry, Leon, Bobby, Billy and Harry Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Josephine Pendergrass Adams; his children, Kendall Adams, Jr. (Melinda) of Gastonia, NC and Stacey Gibby (Lennox) of Gastonia, NC; his brother Ray Adams (Imogene) of Andrews, NC; and his grandchildren, Wesley Gibby (Lauren), Jennifer Grant (Mike), Amanda Britt, Jessica Adams, Dana Adams, Crystal Drawdy and Kim Laye. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
