She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Wright and Ella Wright; and her siblings, Paul Willis, Hildred Casada, Gerald Wright, Ruby Stokes, Ray Wright, Lionel Wright and Jim Wright (William Howard Brown Jr.).

She is survived by: her husband William Howard Brown Jr.; her grandchildren, Lisa DeArmas (Pedro), Kimberly Brown, Will Brown (Katie), Ray Brown (Libby), Regina McPherson (Zach), Cecilia Brown and Michelle Robinson (Walt); and her great grandchildren, Christian, Andres, Griffin, Oaks, Rosemary, Raymond and Isabella. She is also survived by her 3 children.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Charlotte Region and First Baptist Church Gastonia.
