She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Neely and Margaret Vaughn Summerell; her sister Ellen Mack; and her stepson Mark Atwell. She is survived by: her sister Anne Davant; and her stepchildren, Marion Kay (Gordon), Barbara Atwell (Rich) and Richard Atwell (Molli). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Caldwell Presbyterian Church (1609 E 5th St, Charlotte, NC 28204).
