It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Lay (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Fred Edward Lay, Sr.; and her husband Richard Dean Ouzts. She is survived by: her mother Patricia Wiggins Lay; her daughter Crystal Massey (John); her siblings, Teresa Hawkins (Danny), Michelle Bruce (Johnny Keith), Fred Lay, Jr. (Amanda Helms), Anita Christenbury (Tommy), Patrick Lay (Christina) and Virginia Lay; and her sister-in-law Brandy Lay. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
