She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Lee and Addie Ritter Randolph; her husbands, Frank Shelton and Robert J. Paulin; her son Joseph F. Shelton; her granddaughter Margaret E. Hudson (Meg); and her siblings, Carl Lee Randolph, Jr. and Ruby R. Poteat.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth S. Hudson (Beth) of Lincolnton and Jane Marie Shelton of Monroe; her grandchildren, Laura A. Shelton of Houston, Kyle R. Traywick (Nicole) of Monroe and John H. Traywick (Erin) of Hampstead; and her sisters, Betty R. Hyder of Greer and Delores R. Brine (George) of Durham. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gaston Memorial Park (1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
